Meet Our People

  • James Andrews

    James embodies the heart and soul of New Orleans. Raised in the Tremé, Andrews is bandleader of the Crescent City Allstars and Founder/President of the Tremé Heritage & Culture Foundation. His impact on the city’s cultural scene dates back to tap dancing in the French Quarter as a kid, then forming a family band to play in Jackson Square as a teenager. He is now considered one of New Orleans’ premier global jazz ambassadors, asked consistently to bring his hometown culture & music to all corners of the world. James has a profound love for the Tremé and plays an essential role in the preservation of local culture.

  • Kortney Williams

    Kortney is a New Orleans native and lover of all things New Orleans. She's a Xavier University of Louisiana Alumni, with her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. Before joining the foundation, she worked with many festivals in New Orleans to include the youth and help preserve the culture of the city. Helping the youth find their passion in the arts, entertainment, and the rich culture of this city is what she loves doing most.

  • Todd Schwartz

    Todd owns and operates Inn at the Old Jail, a Tremé-based boutique hotel and unofficial headquarters of Tremé Heritage & Culture Foundation. The Inn’s charitable contributions to New Orleans culture are many, and include Krewe of Red Beans, Shuck Cancer, High Voltage, New Orleans Mission, Bridge House, Audubon Zoo, and Toys for Tots. He is also a mentor at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.

  • Derek Domingue

    Derek is the spirits industry’s gift to New Orleans. His background includes a 12-year post at Southern Eagle, after which he founded and led a successful beverage consulting firm called Brewed & Distilled, and has more recently founded his own line of spirits. Who Dat Vodka and Bourbon. Derek also donates his time and spirits to many charities & non-profits around New Orleans, including Son of a Saint. He produces Po Boy Fest, NOLA On Tap, Food Fight, and other festivals in support of non-profits throughout the city.
